Bootup is actively seeking new members of all skill levels. Although we're primarily a Johns Hopkins student organization, we welcome all members of the Baltimore community. If you have skill/interest in any of these areas, we'd love to work with you:

• Computers, especially Linux and open source software (Gimp, Open Office, Amarok, etc)
• Hardware and computer repair
• Programming (Perl, C, etc)
• Web Design or Graphics
• Teaching and working with students

Bootup's mission is to provide computer access to those who would not otherwise be able to have it. If you're a Baltimore resident and you need a computer for work or education, please feel free to contact us. Although Bootup primarily operates through schools and other established community venues, we may be able to help you, or refer you to someone who can.
